I guess I was thinking of it as they are completely different and seperate from the public schools, but I guess they would essentially be competing with them so it would make sense for them to "know their competition." Although, maybe they just don't worry about that. As long as they get enough kids in to fill it ~rachel~https://www.blogger.com/profile/05834433274109247627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7259669950649660344.post-82176550146291929322011-03-03T20:50:53.930-06:002011-03-03T20:50:53.930-06:00I was kind of counting on "I'm bored"...I was kind of counting on "I'm bored" being Xander's whole aura of attitude ages 11-15. :-) Hell, maybe it'll even start sooner than that.SunnyDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04899150174103143277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7259669950649660344.post-5828010253331580522011-03-03T20:16:57.812-06:002011-03-03T20:16:57.812-06:00Just a note on the gifted education in the distric...Just a note on the gifted education in the district. Gifted is great for the kids that are in it but the problem happens when they go to middle school. There is no real "gifted" classes at that level and a lot of the gifted kids get really really bored with school at that point. The Fearless Freakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18060653763011412692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7259669950649660344.post-80993528878685899572011-03-03T16:17:35.742-06:002011-03-03T16:17:35.742-06:00They had items hung up in the hallways from the do...They had items hung up in the hallways from the door in to the classrooms that were from the kids, but besides the walls were pretty bare in the actual classrooms.

And yes, I'm quite sure she's in your school district. It's just weird to me that if you're trying to "sell" your program that you don't really know about the educational changes in the area SunnyDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04899150174103143277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7259669950649660344.post-76968608647099101802011-03-03T16:13:49.437-06:002011-03-03T16:13:49.437-06:00So glad to see your review of them! I thought they had a big art emphasis...
I noticed the application process too, and wasa little shocked that you have to do a portfolio for a preschooler! Oh and your tour guide (I'm almost positive from an email I had from a friend and then the name I saw on their website~rachel~https://www.blogger.com/profile/05834433274109247627noreply@blogger.com
