It's not my drama. I swear to you. I've been home sick all day with a fever and will be home for most of the day tomorrow. I'll have to pull myself out of bed to take X-man to school and to take him to an appointment at 2 p.m., but other than that I've been in bed - sweating. It's been pretty gross but it's not dramatic.
The drama part comes in the fact that I decided to download the NBC app for my iPad. I don't watch a hell of a lot of TV. Well, okay, I watch Castle and Grey's Anatomy... and that's it. Castle I'm fairly addicted to. Grey's I watch when I have time. Since I do all of my viewing online, I had only downloaded the ABC app. Well, today I was a bit desperate because I had the fever on and off all day and I was uncomfortable and sweaty and sad about missing all the things I was going to do AND being home when the weather was so beautiful outside.
Anyway, when I downloaded the NBC app, I was hoping to find a host of new shows that I've never seen before to try. I tried something called Suburgatory. It has this guy from She's All That and the Series Finale of Dawson's Creek in it. Except now, he's near 40 and has a teenage daughter of his own. That creeped me out. But I watched an episode. And, um, no.
The only other thing that caught my eye was the fact that Days of Our Lives is on the app. I didn't even know it was still on TV. And, yes, I know you might find this shocking and kind of inappropriate, but I watched Days of Our Lives pretty religiously from 1987 until 1989. I had a "super couple" that I liked. Then when the girl part of my super couple left, I felt that I'd only watch the Monday and Friday episodes because that's when everything important happens anyway. I did that until 1992 or so. Then I stopped all together.
What was strange was that all the same characters were still on. And I had a hard time imagining them all in the same gig for 22 years. So I started googling. And it was fascinating. That apparently there's someone new at the soap opera that's trying to bring back the old characters to bring back the fan base. That is -- people my age who grew up watching Days and would remember Jack and Jennifer, Billie and Bo and Lucas and Sami, etc., and may be home with their children now...
I find it all very curious. Mostly because I'm looking at people who have had so much darn plastic surgery and botox that they're all really odd looking. Marlena looks more like her grandson's mother than grandmother. And the mother looks more like a sister. And I'm sure if I spent more time researching I'd find that the characters are really only 10 years apart from the actors playing their 18-24 year old children.
So I watched a couple of episodes. I had to fast forward through some parts. And I mourned a bit, the characters that I liked way back in my tween years... and then I wandered over to YouTube. Where I could see clips of my super couple. And what I found was -- hilarious. For two reasons, one, the couple I liked was rarely somber. They fought most of the time. He was a total neanderthal, and she was equally as hard headed. And like all pre-Buffy TV, he, as a police officer, had to sweep in and save her, as a nosy reporter, over and over and over again. I swear that woman got knocked out by a faint breath in her direction. Frail though she might physically have been, she was rather -- feisty.
When they weren't arguing and doing round-the-world soap opera craziness, they were having sex. They had a lot of sex. Probably not something an 11 year old should have been recording every day in middle school on her VCR kind of sex. They laughed and joked when they had sex. It was very loving and cute. Fight, make up, laugh. Get knocked out by evil guys. Fight, make up, laugh. Swear undying love. Fight, make up, laugh. Get blackmailed. Fight, make up, laugh. Get revisited by former wives/husbands long since thought dead. Fight, make up, laugh. Accidentally shoot the other one. Fight, make up, laugh.
Until I came across this scene, which I had totally forgotten. (I still don't remember it, but now I've watched it and can't get the horror out of my head.) I'm kind of glad that at 11 I totally did not understand what I was seeing. Sure, it's a daytime version of it and it was the days of Depeche Mode's Master and Servant song. But um... wow.
The actor who played the cop 20 years ago has now been morphed into this weird non-emotional, secret agent character with an entirely different name. I liked him better when he was stupid and overly male. At least then he had a sense of humor and wasn't creepy (except for that scene that I linked above).
So that ends my foray into Daytime TV. I really should have been outside exercising that five hours a week. But hey, teenage hormones make you watch some really crazy stuff. (Speaking of, did you know you can download the pilot to 21 Jumpstreet at the iTunes store for free?) When I was 12, I had Johnny Depp on my wall. I'll admit it. Everyone else had Bon Jovi or the New Kids. I had Johnny Depp. And I feel okay about that decision, even now. ;-)

Ugh
At 12:30 a.m., my insides on my lower left side twisted in pain. I got up and rushed to the bathroom, and there I stayed until 4 a.m. So, I ended up staying home today, which meant I missed out on seeing my Clownfish, getting my son to school and volunteering at Carrie Busey's library.
Since Pepto failed to help, MacTroll ran out today and got me some Immodium. For whatever reason, that seems to be doing the trick. But I am thankful it's Monday. I can pick X-man up from school (his heart would break if he wasn't a car rider on a car rider day) give him his snack, have him do his homework and then drop him off at Rec Zone at SRC. On winter days like today, I'm glad that we have a regular drop in program nearby. I wish they had a day of drop in that was Rec Zone each week and a day that was Lego Club each week, because right now they flip flop. But X-man really needs some running around time when they have "indoor" recess in their classroom on rainy days. And I could use another 60 minutes of sleep.
MacTroll flies back to California at 5 p.m. He'll be gone until Wednesday. So I'm hoping whatever this gastrointestinal thing is -- it's gone soon and I can get a good night's sleep. I don't do well on 4 hours.

Eeghads!
We had sand in our sand table yesterday. So I wasn't really surprised that my eyes felt a bit scratchy at the end of the day. I cleaned up my room and went down for our weekly staff meeting, a very nice potluck lunch where there were veggie trays and fruit salad for me with my HMR meal. However, had I not been on the medically supervised diet, I totally would have dug into the cheesy lasagna.
Immediately, someone asked me what was wrong with my eyes. I said -- I think it's sand.
But as we sat, I was pretty quiet, which I'm not normally. I started to feel miserable like it was the last place I wanted to be. And I love work.
So, I got up and went into the kitchen where there is a mirror over the sink. My eyes were pink and there was off white goo swimming in them.
Greeeeaaaattttt!
The pink eye that had been floating around the upstairs had finally gotten to my room via me. Because I hugged and played with and changed the diapers of all of the children in that room on Wednesday.
I went upstairs and got my coat and my trash to go out. I told my supervisor I probably wouldn't be there tomorrow. I told my co-teacher what the plan was and that it was posted outside the door.
Then I picked up X-man from school and we took a trip to Convenient Care.
Definite pink eye. I have the drops. But as a woman who washed her hands 23 times in 4 hours today and washes things with bleach water all day, I have to admit I get really annoyed when people tell me I need to be sure to wash my hands.
So, it's not pretty. And there's really only tears because the light from the computer screen hurts my eyes... This is your Loosey -- on pink eye.

Sick Day
X-man's cold transitioned into a low fever and chills this morning, so I kept him home from school. MacTroll was on his way to Phoenix and then to D.C. for work. But he was here long enough that I could drop off all of my lesson plans for the week at school and halfway set up the room for my co-teacher before 8 a.m.
Since then, we've been doing everything in my bed: reading books, playing some educational games on the iPad, watching Sesame Street and something called Wilson and Ditch on PBS kids via an app on the iPad. I just let him eat his lunch in bed. So, you know, he's feeling pretty lazy.
But the mucous keeps coming, and he's lying still which means we all know he doesn't feel well. Poor little man.

Case of the Mondays
Since everyone had a Facebook status of being grouchy this morning, I figured I'd vent my ugly on the blog. Around 9:30 p.m. last night I ended up with MacTroll's stomach bug. In addition, someone apparently left our bathroom door open, so Clawdio peed in our shower. And it was particularly cat urine smelling, but even the rankness of that couldn't get the vomiting to start. And I needed it to start because my belly was swollen to the point where I thought I was going to implode.
Five hours later, I was empty and crippled and exhausted. This morning, I woke up feeling much better in that I knew the vomiting was over. But I felt like someone had hit me with a truck. I had a headache from crying while vomiting. So I've been in bed napping on and off and hoping that X-man doesn't get it. So much for us vacating the house all day Saturday and not being around MacTroll so we wouldn't get it.
Now I have to also hope we didn't give it to our dinner guests last night who are moving tomorrow from Champaign to Lincoln, NE. (Dr. Dave and Ms. K, I swear if I had known I had it I would have canceled!)
Onto other information, every day for the last -- who am I kidding -- for forever we've been getting afternoon thunderstorms. It's not like I live at the Grand Canyon and can enjoy some awesome desert light show. Instead, it just bums us out. We got sent home early from the pool on Saturday, which made X-man really upset. As much as he loves playing and replaying Trouble in our living room, he looked outside and said, "Mom, I want it to be summer." (He means sunny, but I totally get where he's coming from.)
Tomorrow, MacTroll gets his father's day gift early -- We're taking his car in to get detailed. He's so excited about it. On Thursday, MacTroll has a meeting near Schaumburg, so if things go okay, he's going to drop X-man and I off at the Lego Discovery Center, go to his meeting and then meet up with us afterwards to take a trip to Ikea to look at rugs. I guess that means, I need to measure where all of our new wood floors will be installed. The wood is supposed to get delivered this week. Installation should start on the 22nd.
This weekend my Dad is coming down for a visit, which will be nice. X-man hasn't seen him since Easter.
But the big news is that a week from Thursday, I'll be on a plane, by myself, headed to St. Croix in the USVI to see my friend Dr. Robin for four days. She's so going to drink me under the table. :-)

Testing Positive and other medical news
So, I woke up last night covered in sweat feeling like someone had shoved a lighter into the back of my throat. This morning I called into work, took X-man to school and then went to Convenient Care at Mega Clinic, where in 15 minutes I tested positive for strep and got sent out the door with a prescription for a Z-pack. (The nurse and nurse practitioner who saw me were awesome, by the way.)
The rest of my day changed at that moment, as has my weekend. I'm resting. Literally, I've been in bed since returning from the grocery store. I'm leaving in the next few minutes to go to Urbana to dog sit for Zoe and picking up X-man. He's supposed to get a haircut and pick up a birthday present today, but I think we're going to try to do that tomorrow instead.
I had to reschedule the CARE Tricycle race on Sunday. And I won't be going to Curious J's birthday party, because I don't want to infect any small children (even though it will be exactly 24 hours after I started my dose and shouldn't be infectious by then).
In other news, MacTroll filed an appeal with his place of work regarding the hellacious issues I had with Evil Insurance and Mega Clinic last month. Apparently the two businesses couldn't agree on how to deal with their bureaucratic difference of opinion, so Mega Clinic decided the best course of action was to just keep billing me and make me responsible for their marital woes, while Evil Insurance looked the other way and twiddled his thumbs and whistled like he wasn't supposed to do anything in this case anyway.
I like my husband's place of work. Not just because they do fun, dynamic things and hire a lot of very lovely people, but because they have always walked their talk regarding employee benefits-- at least in our experience. The last time we had issues with Evil Insurance, my husband's company's review board stepped in and told the insurance company to pay what should be covered for my child's corrective helmet. Verbally, we were told, "You'll be getting a check. We're so sorry you went through this. We don't treat kids like that."
This time, they stepped in for me. It took them 3 business days to get done what I failed to be able to get accomplished after I spent two months going back and forth between both companies. MacTroll got the e-mail yesterday that my claim will be paid and we should receive a check in 7-10 days.
Seriously. If we're ever in Cupertino and I meet someone on their insurance review board -- I'm going to hug them. They make me believe that good, solid, helpful people do still exist somewhere in mega corporations. Giant thank yous. Giant, giant thank yous.

I think I'm getting sick
I don't get sick much any more. I attribute it to having an immune system that gets introduced to craziness from a) working in a pre-school, b) attending a college classroom, c) having a child in pre-school and d) having a husband who flies all the time.
Truthfully, when I'm down it's usually for one day things like migraines or pulled muscles. Things you don't get from germs. I do get random fevers from time to time. But my body usually takes a nap and pulls through within 10 hours or so.
Yesterday MacTroll called from Northern Virginia. He said he had a sore throat, cough, headache and achiness. I told him I was sorry to hear that, but he had three days to get over it so he didn't bring it home.
This morning I woke up with a sore throat and the achy muscles. But my muscles normally ache from all the changing around I've been doing in my workouts lately. I should have known this wasn't the "Oooh, that hurts so bad it's good" feeling that comes with a good workout. This was a, "Really, can I just go back to bed."
And, of course, since it is X-man and Loosey spend the day together day, I had a whole fleet of stuff for us to do, and he was up and ready to start doing them at 6 a.m. Seriously, any other day I'm trying to haul my kid out of bed at 7:45 to get him to school before 9 a.m.
We played with his LeapPad. We watched this video of Spiderman, Ironman and the Hulk that I found on YouTube. Then we went downstairs and I made him breakfast. He decided he didn't want the pancakes I was going to make him, so I made him an Eggo waffle with strawberries and a piece of bacon instead. He ate the bacon and his Flintstone's vitamin and left everything else. Sigh.
Then we played the Eric Carle 123 game that he won from the Westview Fun Fest. He loves it. I got out the gold fish so he could use them as counters while we did some basic addition and subtraction together. Afterwards we played Super Mario Brothers until it was time to go to the gym.
Usually, X-man is in school when I go to the Fitness Center. But today, he went with me and we used the free childcare. I was worried that he might freak out that he didn't know the adults in there or any of the kids, but I knew Quigs was coming with at least one of her kiddos, so I used that as bait. The truth was -- he walked in, said hello and started playing. He didn't mind at all. I told him I'd be back when my class was over. He apparently did pretty okay. He said he even used the bathroom there. :-) Class went kind of crappy for me. I've been trying to keep my heart rate in certain zones, so I wasn't able to do most of the high intensity stuff I usually do in class so I could keep my HR under 148. It was hard. Hard, hard. It was hard because I knew I usually can do more and was restricted by the HR. But it was even more hard because I knew I was dragging. My body had no energy. So I was kind of happy to do the lower intensity options and I used lower weights than normal.
By the time we got to Touch-a-Truck, I was winning Mother of the Year. I forgot my camera in the car, and I was so tired I wasn't into dealing with X-man's wandering around. He did get to drive the crane truck, sit in the racing car, drive the minivan. He was shuttling me to the airport hanging out the window waving at people to get in the shuttle. Then he pretended to crash into the truck in front of us and go out to see if the kid driving that car was okay. If he could, I bet he would have volunteered to go over and drive the ambulance to the scene of the accident. His favorite part was sitting in the SWAT truck.
At 11:45 a.m., we walked back to the car and went to Zelma's for lunch. He was starting to get a bit grumpy, so food was an imperative. Plus, he wanted to know why the firefighters ran out of hats AND the pizza man was out of chocolate for chocolate milk. (See how the day was going?)
By the time we got home from lunch, I was pooped. We took Riley to the vet for his bordatella vaccination and then came home. We sat in the hot tub for 20 minutes and then got out. Now we're in the middle of quiet time.
A belated birthday present arrived on our front doorstep for X-man though. He got some Pez and some matchbox cars that he's playing with as he watches TV.
I'm hoping to feel better before taking him to the park for dinner and playtime tonight. I only have two more days of work, so I'm hoping to NOT be sick tomorrow morning.
And hopefully, everyone will be over it so we can all have a fun and busy weekend this weekend!

So Frustrating
For the last two nights I've drugged myself with Nyquil in order to sleep through my coughing. I've had a headcold that had decided to move into my chest. Outside of when I'd erupt into fits of coughing while lying down I didn't notice it much, until I went out to shovel my front walk today.
I got to the end of the walk and I was sweating and exhausted. It was like I had no energy. The plan had been to shovel the front walk and then walk over to the rec center to do a short run on the track. Instead, I came back in side, checked on my pork roast in the slow cooker, baked some Cooking Light molasses cookies and then went up to read and ended up falling asleep.
I woke up at 4 p.m. to the smell of the yummy pork roast that's not on my menu, but I will admit tasting. I took a shower, but my body still felt drained. I was really sweaty, which I can't tell is because I got rid of a fever or was asleep in in a sunbeam under a feather down comforter. But when I stood up, it felt like I had low blood pressure because it took a while for the world not to spin.
Fast forward 3 hours. I got tired playing a couple games on the Wii after dinner. I wanted to eat comfort food. I had a molasses cookie, which is also out of the box.
Then I came up to bed, where I'm eyeing my book and thinking, "Where is that Nyquil?"
I just had surgery and was down for two weeks from that. I really don't want to have a cold that turns into bronchitis right after it. So, tomorrow, X-man is going to Chuck E. Cheese with MacTroll for a birthday party. Then, I'm hoping I'll feel better enough to go to the Superbowl party at Libbygirl's. If not, I'll have to send the boys with the drinks and fruit salad. But, dammit, I really was looking forward to just planting myself on their couch and watching football for hours.
I haven't done that since the Ravens were in the Superbowl in 2001. Seriously.

The Good in the Bad
By now, half the world probably knows I ended up in the ER late on Wednesday night with a gallbladder attack, was admitted and then had my gallbladder removed at 7 p.m. on Friday night while most people were either a) at dinner and a movie or b) watching the Haiti telethon.
As with every trip to the hospital there are ups and down. And I could regale you with some complete horrors of my stay, but since I'm feeling much more positive after getting a night of rest and after getting discharged, I'm only going to emphasize the positive.
Nurses make or break your hospital stay. That's just how it is. If you end up in the emergency room at Carle, think good thoughts that you get Wendy as your nurse. She's awesome. She's funny, chatty, extraordinarily responsive, and she doesn't mess around when it comes to giving you pain relief.
If you end up on the 4th floor of the North Tower, the gods will have smiled down on you if you get Amy, Erica or Courtney as your RNs. They're attentive, thorough and also put a key emphasis on responsiveness, pain management and humanity. You'll also be cheered by Wayne's warm greeting to take your vitals at 6 a.m.
If you're in the hospital, you probably have a life at home that's not being attended to and a spouse who is flipping out a bit because his wife, who manages everything at home, isn't around. Then you're both grateful for friends like Quigs, KTDID, Libbygirl, Special K, Dri and Ian of the North and my favorite family members, who not only call and check up on you frequently, they take your child (our most precious cargo) for a few hours, do your laundry, make meals, send flowers and show up for a visit. And then there's the legion of awesome folks who make the offer to help and know that they're on call if we need them.
The support network we've made in Champaign helped us a lot this week. I thank all of you for your good thoughts and love. You're loved right back.
I'm slow and steady right now at home. Walking feels okay, but stairs are difficult. I get tired easily. Mostly, I'm glad not to have someone waking me every hour to give me shots in my belly or poke me to take blood. I'm also thankful to be able to eat food. I spent 53 hours without any kind of food or water out of the 63 hours I was at the hospital. I'm getting my pineapple fix tonight. My high liver enzymes were coming down within 8 hours of having the gallbladder removed, but I have to go back to the lab to get a CBC on Monday to make sure they're back to a normal level. I also have a follow up with my surgeon, Dr. Oliphant, in a week.

Holy sore throat, Batman!
Last night, I had a hard time falling asleep. X-man was out by 9 p.m. And I sat in bed forever not able to sleep. I ended up watching "Up Close and Personal" over Youtube... so you know it was bad. I finally fell asleep a little before 1 a.m.
At 2 a.m., the dog got me up to go outside.
At 3 a.m., I woke up to pain in my throat. It is pretty common since I've had a lot of post nasal drip lately. Except the pain was way worse than normal. My mouth felt a lot more dry. When I went to get a drink of water I found that my throat felt so swollen that I couldn't swallow. Interesting.
At 4 a.m., Riley got me up to go out again. (Not sure what his issue was.)
At 5 a.m., X-man came in my room and snuggled up.
At 5:30 a.m., X-man and Riley had a bed sharing issue.
At 6 a.m., my throat was still a mess, so I called into work sick.
At 8:45 a.m., I dropped X-man off at school and went to Convenient Care. I was still having a lot of pain and a hard time swallowing.
At 9:15 a.m., the CC doctor sat in front of me doing his one-man, fill-the-time-until-the-rapid-test-results-come-back show. For the record, he thought it was just irritation from my cold and wanted me to take some ibuprofen rather than Tylenol. The results came and -- Strep throat.
So, I picked up my Z-pack, came home, rescheduled some appointments and am sitting in bed. I'm eyeing books, but I think instead I'm going to watch movies. I'm eyeing Varsity Blues (who doesn't love a good football movie?), Love Actually (it's a feel good movie) or Grosse Pointe Blank (come on a hitman goes to his high school reunion -- priceless).
Or I could just rewatch all of Firefly. It's been a while since I've seen it. Maybe since I was pregnant with X-man...
Of course as I type this, I'm sitting cross-legged in bed with my laptop in front of me. Nyssa is lying in my lap and across my right forearm. Clawdio is lying up my left knee with one arm on my left elbow and his head resting on my left forearm. Riley is just beyond the laptop... So no stretching any appendages for the time being.

A House of Colds
Both X-man and MacTroll have colds. X-man's is just a clear runny nose and some coughing at night, but no fever. Unfortunately, the coughing keeps him up a lot, so he can't sleep well and it makes him erupt into tantrums (not unlike his mother when she's sleep deprived).
MacTroll has chest congestion, headache and a low-grade fever off and on. He's upstairs sleeping in. I'm doing okay so far. No signs of a cold. I'm hoping the virus I had in early September was my bug -- and that I'll make it through for awhile. At least until the other two are better.

Limitations
Today, I am feeling very limited not only in my physical capacity but in my emotional and mental capacities as well. I am of no use to anyone.
I'd write more, but right now I'm losing my peripheral vision... which means migraine. So, here I go trying to fall asleep fast!

Grrr
My nap and restful periods this week did nothing to ward off the inevitable.
I have congestion and a fever. It's a low fever, but I'm hoping I don't get another sinus infection like I had last March. That was uber painful on many levels.
Plus, it'll completely mess with running the 5k on Sunday if I don't get over it.

Sick girl update
I went to the doctor this morning. I have a sinus infection -- no surprise. He prescribed me some antibiotics (875 mg of amoxicillin), some mucinex and some afrin. He told me to take them with food, so I did.
2 hours later I lost my food, and the bitter tastes of the pills. I continued to vomit for over 2 hours. Then MacTroll ran out and got me a prescription for an anti-nausea medicine, which put me to sleep... but not enough to sleep, thank goodness. So I could still make it to the bathroom for a few bouts of diarrhea from being dehydrated.
I've been up now for 2 hours. And I'm starting to get tired again. But holy moly, if it's not one thing it's another. At one point I thought it was a conspiracy by the medical community to kill me. Nice, right? That may just be the fever I've started to have.
At least MacTroll is home ALL this WEEK.

Help!
Needed:
Someone who can come over and rip out my sinuses. I'm afraid I'm headed back to convenient care tomorrow. Blah.
Sinus pressure from hell
We're in Indy for the night, and I'm having a hard time sleeping. My respiratory infection that turned into a cold now has sinus pressure from hell. The muscle in my left cheek actually hurts from breathing through my mouth all the time. I keep massaging it, but it doesn't help. Sudafed ain't even making a dent in this baby.
So the boys are quietly sleeping in the next room and here I am... online. How sad is that?
We went to the Children's Museum today. It's Saturday over spring break, so it was crowded, but there was a lot to do. I'll review that later. Tomorrow we're headed to the zoo.

Life through X-man's words
MacTroll came home this afternoon from a trip to D.C. and X-man immediately melded to his side. I guess having a sick mom for 5 days pretty much means that there's no time to put Daddy in the penalty box for traveling (usually he has little to do with him for 36 hours after a long trip).
Anyway, X-man is saying a lot of things that MacTroll's ears don't understand yet, since he's been away a few days. For example, X-man started talking about his goldfish, Gordy, who died. He also asked for his turtle bath toy holder a few times before I went down the hall and got it for him.
But Daddy does lots of things Mommy doesn't do. He lets X-man eat pizza in the living room. He let's X-man sip from his diet ginger ale. He let's X-man sit in the tub for 45 minutes, even when he's given him the 1-3 minute warning three times over the last 20 minutes. :-)
And since I'm sitting in my bed, hardly able to breathe because I'm so congested. I am thankful to have someone else on point tonight. I don't give a crap if there's pizza sauce on the carpet or that he's peeing in his bathtub.
All I care about is that I can lie here blowing my nose with Clawdio, my awesomely soft cat, in my lap, without anyone shouting at me or pulling at me.
Although he did come down after bath, blow me a kiss, and then turn around and ask Daddy for medicine and kleenex. He likes to think he's sick, too.

Things that make me feel better when I'm sick
I took X-man into school today, and as we walked through the halls, one of the Tigers (his new 3-year-old room starting on Monday) saw him. His eyebrows raised and he got excited. Then he turned back to the class and said, "I just saw Xander! Is he coming to our room today?"
It was like my kid was the bees knees for that little boy.
I also learned from Ms. Jen that during his visits to the Tiger room, X-man has been waving to the Wonder Twins through the bathroom during potty time. (They share a bathroom with two toilets in it).
As for me, I'm still sick during these lovely weather days. I think I'm propped up by Dayquil right now, but I took a midterm in my Program Planning for Young Children class today, and I think I did pretty well.
Now I'm resting before I start in on my pro-bono projects.
