Carle Weight Management Closing

I got the news today that Carle Clinic is shutting down the Carle Weight Management program. This makes me very sad. I have been a crappy patient this year, but I've been maintaining over a 70 pound weight loss and they were key to keeping me motivated in going.

Apparently, they'll close the doors on July 26, 2012. It also means that there is no local seller for PB2. This is a bummer. I guess I'll have to purchase online.

But it also means, I might have to try flying alone for a while.

And I'm not sure that's a great idea.

I saw that on the news. Are you going to look at other programs, like weight watchers or something?

Also, I don't know what it tastes like but Walden Farms makes a peanut butter spread that is basically 0 across the board, except sodium. I LOVE their bar b que sauce and could eat the whole bottle! Their dressing is ok too and they sell them at County Market on Kirby and Duncan.

I was not a fan of the Walden Farms Peanut Butter. But I will admit the last time I tried it was in 2009.

I'm not sure which maintenance program I'll go to. To be honest, I'm totally trying to see if I can hire my favorite nutritionist to take me on as a private client... at least until we move to California. And then, I'll have to totally rethink...
