Yes, I also love NPH and NF... so I figured this would be a win/win/win triple threat, I'd never stop watching it... but apparently my dislike for musicals outranks even my love of these three fine men and their work.
Musicals I like: Grease (the movie only) Sunday at the Park with George
Yeah, that's about it. I like certain songs from others, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to sit through movies or actual theater shows.
It's not so much about not caring as it is that I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. ;-)
But if it makes you feel better, my favorite song as a 2 year old was, "Don't Cry for Me Argentina." I used to sing it in the grocery store at the top of my lungs from the seat of the cart... well, that and Pat Benatar.
We talked about this already, but basically, I was expecting a second OMWF and it just wasn't. There were parts that I LOVED about Dr Horrible (namely the first act, although the second was pretty good too). Some of the songs were really good and some of the dialouge was exactly what I would expect from JW. Other parts were kind of lame and I hated the ending.
None of act 3 felt organic. It all felt forced, like they didn't know how to end it but couldn't just leave it unfinished.
Most of act 3 was typical Joss though. He gives you a likable character, makes you care about them and then kills them. Think about Joyce and Tara in Buffy, Cordelia (who didn't start out as likable)and Doyle in Angel and Wash in Firefly. That seems to be his schtick :(

Sorry, dude.
I thought Acts I and II were side-splitting hysterical.
Act III tore me up for quite a bit.
I loved it. (But I'm also in love with Nathan Fillion and NPH is quickly climbing in my rankings.)
But you don't like musicals, do you?

So I've never been to an actual musical on a stage. I'm trying to convince N to take me to one, but I think Rogers might have to be my date instead.
So would it kill you to know that I've probably seen West Side Story thirty times and I sing every song when I watch it? :)
And every time you or Freak say Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico song from WSS goes off in my head.
Okay, really it's not the Puerto Rico song, it's the beginning of "America," but whatever. You don't really care.

I was a girl rocker even then.
