I love big haircuts. Whenever my hair gets too long I start getting really ansy until I can get it cut. Every few years I usually go really short. It's the best kind of change, because it'll always grow back if you hate it!
I also like color changes, but I guess you didn't mention that :)
Mmm, practice up on your poker face then. Because I'll be able to tell in an instant if you're disappointed. And that goes with anyone who voted with you...
I voted in the minority then. Not because of looks because I think either will be great but based on ease of care. Short hair is a PITA. You have to get it cut regularly in order to keep it looking halfway decent. Plus, you have to DO something to it every day (unless you get a cute pixie like MT and then it just falls nice). When I had short hair, I had to gel and style and then wash it out every night so it didn't get gross. Talk about a pain. Long hair is wash, air dry, pony tail, done.
so I say long, just because it is easier to deal with. :)
I chopped off my hair a few weeks ago since it was falling out in clumps. But now I have to actually spend time styling it if I want to go out in public and not scare people. This means dragging out the blow dryer and no longer relying on the ponytail - my life's crutch.
Short hair Pro: Cute, fun, different, new Short hair Con: Potentially more effort, loss of ponytail option

Mmm, I'm suddenly wondering what the gender break down is on my poll.
Im not giving away which I voted for, thats why its America, I can vote in private, and no one ever has to know.

See, I'm pretty sure my laziness will win out... but you never know...
